An Audience with Sir Bernard Lovell
On Saturday 4th August at 7.30 pm.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Lovell Telescope, a rare change to hear the Founder and first Director of Jodrell Bank speak about the development of the Observatory and look back over his astounding career.

Tickets for both events are available from Jodrell Bank Visitor Centre on 01477 571339.

First Flight - the Dawn of The Space Age
We celebrate the Dawn of the Space Age with our ten day 'First Flight' events series.
In 1957 the Lovell Telescope tracked the flight of the first artificial satellite, Sputnik I. In 2007 we celebrate the Space Age as part of our daily lives. There will also be special behind the scenes tours of the observatory. Further details available soon. Booking advised.
