Anderton Boat Lift and British Waterways
Take a trip to remember through the world's first boat lift and see first hand how the lift operates. Typical visit 3+ hours. Lift Lane, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 6FW. Open Wed - Sun, 10.30 - 15.30, Thurs 2nd Feb to Fri 31st Mar (no trip boat). From Sun 1st Apr, seven days a week opening, with trip boat, 10.00 - 17.00 until 29th Sep. Arley Hall and Gardens
Voted one of the top 50 gardens in Europe. Typical visit 2-3 hours. Near Northwich, Cheshire CW9 6NA.
